Deep Cleaning Checklist

General Cleaning (All Areas)

☐ Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including skirting boards and molding.

☐ Remove cobwebs from ceilings, corners, and walls.

☐ Clean light fixtures, switches, and power points.

☐ Wash walls, removing marks, stains, and scuff marks.

☐ Vacuum carpets and mop all hard floors.

☐ Clean windows, including tracks, frames, and blinds.

☐ Dust and clean air vents and ceiling fans.

☐ Sanitize door handles, light switches, and other high-touch surfaces.

Kitchen

☐ Clean inside, outside, and around all cupboards, drawers, and shelves.

☐ Scrub sink and taps, removing limescale and sanitizing thoroughly.

☐ Wipe down countertops and backsplash.

☐ Mop and sanitize kitchen floor, paying attention to corners and edges.

☐ Clean and polish all appliances:

    Stove/Oven: Deep clean interior, racks, and glass door.

    Range Hood: Remove grease and clean filters.

    Microwave: Clean inside, outside, and under.

    Refrigerator/Freezer: Empty and clean shelves, drawers, and seals.

    Dishwasher: Sanitize interior, wipe down exterior, and clean filter.

Bathrooms and Toilets

☐ Scrub and disinfect toilet bowls, seats, and bases.

☐ Clean mirrors, glass, and shower screens.

☐ Remove soap scum and limescale from tiles, taps, and showerheads.

☐ Deep clean bathtubs and sinks, ensuring no stains or residue.

☐ Sanitize countertops and wipe down cabinets inside and out.

☐ Mop and disinfect bathroom floors.

☐ Empty and clean exhaust fans and vents.

Bedrooms

☐ Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including inside wardrobes and drawers.

☐ Clean windows, mirrors, and window sills.

☐ Vacuum carpets or mop hard flooring.

☐ Spot clean walls and doors to remove marks.

Living and Dining Areas

☐ Clean windows, blinds, and sliding door tracks.

☐ Dust and wipe down built-in shelves, and mantels (if applicable).

☐ Vacuum or mop floors, including under furniture (if possible).

☐ Spot clean walls for marks and scuffs.

Hallways, Stairs, and Entryways

☐ Dust and clean banisters, railings, and corners.

☐ Wipe down front doors, door frames, and doorknobs.

☐ Vacuum or mop floors, including staircases.

☐ Remove any lingering cobwebs or debris from high corners.
